It’s definitely time for thick, creamy soups again now that we’re in the midst of winter, so I’m always happy to find new soup recipes. What’s great about soup is that you can put in so many nutritious ingredients and serve a whole meal in one pot. A dollop of cream in each bowl when served always makes it tastier, as does a generous tablespoon of coriander, finely chopped, or a sprinkling of chives. Popular restaurants know that soup is a drawcard, and have joined the StreetSmart Soup Season initiative, serving their special soups during July and August to raise money for StreetSmart.
